Today's blog is all about ' how to get rid of Pimples '... our skin means so much to us and we spend so much money on buying cosmetics that would help us get clear and smoother skin. All the money that we put into the beauty and maintenance of our skin, however, can go to a complete waste by the appearance of a single pimple.

I have faced a lot of problems due to acne and the acne scars which are not ready to leave your face easily. I am always in search of product that can remove my acne scars and came to know about Dermocalm lotion . 

Dermocalm lotion is a calamine-based lotion from a very famous and leading pharma Brand GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Thankfully, there are ways to deal with acne too.

What is Acne?

Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin.It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, and possible scarring. It primarily affects areas of the skin with a relatively high number of oil glands, including the face, upper part of the chest, and back.

After trying the product for about 2 months i am sharing my experience and review of the product. 

About  Dermocalm lotion:

Dermocalm lotion contains Calamine and light liquid paraffin that helps in drying out pimples. I am using this product daily as night cream for more than 2 months and feel worth a try.

Composition:

Calamine IP......8.0% 

Light Liquid Paraffin IP....10.0%

In a lotion base

Now the question arises how can Calamine Lotion helps to dry out pimples?

Calamine lotion is a mildly scented medication, used to treat mild infections and irritations on the skin. It is usually a combination of zinc oxide and ferric oxide, or a zinc carbonate compound. It has soothing properties and can really ward off itching, burning and irritation of the skin. Its chemical composition makes it a mild antiseptic as well, so it is able to inhibit growth of microbes and prevent infection on skin.

 My Experience:

What I like the most in  Dermocalm Lotion: 

 

I apply a thick layer of Dermocalm lotion before going to bed.

• Helps to dry up the pimples quickly.
• Very effective and affordable.
• Make the skin soft  and helps to improve the skin texture 
• Helps to maintain a healthy and clear skin.
• Can be used as a moisturizer.
• Lightens the acne scars (it takes time to lightens the scars so be patient while using the product)

Direction To Use:

• Take Dermocalm lotion onto the palm of your hand.
• Apply on your face, massaging in a slow, circular motion for maximum penetration.
• Leave the calamine lotion on your skin overnight. 
• You need not wash it off in the morning. Simply rinse your face with water and your skin will become really soft. 
• Repeat every night till you get rid of the acne completely.
• Suitable for all skin types.

 What I didn't like about  Dermocalm Lotion:

• As of now their is nothing that i didn't liked about this product.

Rating:

Improves the skin texture and dries the pimples at the same time prevents from getting pimples. I have acne prone and oily skin .This lotion helps to reduce my acne scars a lot.

Even if you don't have pimples you can use this lotion.

Please try this product for 1 - 2 week and then come to any conclusion.
