Monsoon are here , while i love the gloomy weather and hot chai, i am always worried what when i step out my makeup will run out.To avoid makeup mess on a rainy days i came up with simple and easy waterproof monsoon makeup .
1.Primer is key:
Always make sure to prep your skin with primer. It act as natural shield for water ,dust and debris and also help to reduce perspiration through the pores . Primer keeps makeup for longer time. The one i am using today is NELF Hydrating Primer. NELF Hydrating Primer provides an extra smooth finish, camouflage fine lines wrinkles,open pores & even-out uneven sin texture, leaving a soft and smooth skin.
You can also use Aloe Vera gel as primer.
I got this primer in my Glamego Box.
2.Avoid the layers:
It's very important to make sure your foundation is waterproof. Avoid using heavy foundation and go for a light foundation. I want to keep it more light and simple, i love to use BB cream during rainy days.
During the rainy days , the best way to apply foundation or BB cream is to apply thin layer of your moisturizer and then dab on a layer of foundation or BB cream. The one i am using today is L.A.Girl - PRO.BB cream.
L.A.Girl - PRO.BB cream is All-in- one-skin -Beautifier, Moisturizes and enhances skin and it is Paraben and fragrance free.There is no doubt that i am totally i love with this product.It's is very light on my face and i haven't feel like i have applied anything.
3.Lock it with Powder:
I always use powder to set my face. It makes base smudge proof mad mattify the face.
The one i am using today is Lakme Rose Powder. This classic rose powder has a sweet and subtle frgrance of roses taht feels good on your face, while it matte finish controls oily skin for long hour.It blends easily.
4.Go for Simple eye makeup :
During rainy days i just want to keep my eye makeup smile and nothing over the top.
I generally use Maybelline Colossal Kajal as my eye liner and kajal. It provides a bold look.
5.Waterproof Mascara:
My eye makeup is incomplete without mascara.I am love applying thick coats of mascara.To keep lashes voluminous and curled, keep a waterproof mascara in your makeup pouch.
Trying for the first time Bella Voste High Definition Mascara.
6.Go for a long lasting Matte Lipstick:
I am not a matte lipstick lover. I have one or two matte lipstick. The one i am using today is Miss Claire soft matte lip cream in the shade 10.
Tip: If you don't have matte lipstick , apply any lipstick and then place a tissue on the top of your lipstick and dab some loose powder to mattify it.
7.Highlighter (its optional) :
When it's raining you always look for a product that can easily accentuate in your skin and something that is going to stick .That is what a creamy and liquid highlighter does.It adds an instant shine to your face.
The one i am using today is MANNA Beauty Simplified GLOW Illuminator.
This simple and easy makeup is definitely going to be your savior for this Monsoon season.
