Today's Post is all about Veg Bread Poha recipe - ''Healthy and light breakfast''.

Bread 🍞Poha using bread edges...
A traditional tempering and veggies like onions, tomatoes and spring onions transform the bread edges into a sumptuous Veg Bread Poha, which is enhanced further by the addition of pinch of Garam Masala ,salt ,Turmeric and chilli 🌶 powder.
Ingredients of Poha
- 1 Bowl Bread Cubes( i have used leftover bread edges)
- 1 Tbsp oil
- Pinch of Asafoetida(hing)
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 onions-chopped fine
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 2-3 whole red Chillies
- 1-2 Tomatoes - chopped fine
- 1-2 Spring Onions
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp salt or to taste
- Pinch of Garam Masala
- 1 tsp green chillies-finely chopped or to taste
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves
How to Make Bread Poha
1Heat the oil and add the Asafoetida(hing) , mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions and the whole red chillies.
2.When onions are light brown, add tomatoes, and turn around till they look a bit glossy.
3.Add the turmeric and sauté over low heat till the tomatoes are cooked through.
4.Increase the heat, add salt , pinch of Garam Masala and diced bread edges and mix well. Saute till mixed and heated through.
5.Shut off the heat, and mix in the green chillies, lemon juice , and half of the coriander.
6.Transfer on to a serving dish, garnish with the spring onions and coriander and tadaa quick easy bread poha is ready to serve.
