Snapseed - Photo Editing App.

Editing  photos on  phone should be quick and easy. No need for slow apps or fancy interfaces.
The ideal app would have a clean and simple interface while including user-friendly features and tools. Luckily, this app exists, and it’s called Snapseed.

What is Snapseed ?

Snapseed is one of the apps that Google is trying to focus upon a “On the go photo editing app” for mobile phones, and the app is evolving with each iteration. .Snapseed is a photo-editing app that allows you to use filters and various tools to enhance your photos. This app has many unique options for editing and keeps a clean layout. This way, nothing is ever overcrowded or jumbled while editing. 

Snapseed also allows you to easily change the level of features, such as brightness, by sliding your finger directly on the picture.  Lets have a look at the app itself.

Key Features of Snapseed:

• 29 Tools and Filters , including : Healing , Brush, structure , HDR, Perspective.
• Opens JPG and raw files.
• Selective filter brush.
• All styles can be tweaked with fine, precise control.

How to use Snapseed:

  

• First, open the app, and you will be prompted to choose a photo to edit.
• Once you have chosen a photo, you’ll have the option of  variety of  filters. These filters will show up at the bottom of the screen. The filters all have names, which help describe exactly what the filter is made to do. 
• After choosing a filter, continue to the advanced options by clicking the check mark in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. 

You will see three options at the bottom of the screen :

•  Looks
• Tools
• Export.

Upload a picture and begin editing instantly.

The “Looks” section is where you can add or change your filter.

The "Tools" section is full of the unique and specific editing tools you can use. To access the basics, like saturation and contrast, click on “Tools” to see the option.

Snapseed uses gestures to make edits to photos. For instance, in the tool, swipe up or down to select from among Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Ambience, Highlights, Shadows and Warmth.
Then swipe left or right to increase or decrease the intensity of that effect. 
While this is the kind of information that is well-documented in Snapseed.

 Editing features range from basic to advanced.

I recommend playing around with the settings a bit on a sample photo to see how they all work.

Once you have finished editing your photo, you can export it (in the “Export” section). Save it to your camera roll or share it instantly.
